About Suzi Pomerantz, MT, MCC

As CEO of Innovative Leadership International LLC, Suzi Pomerantz is an award-winning executive leadership coach, international bestselling author, and global thought leader who ranks among the top 4% of credentialed coaches worldwide. For over three decades, she has helped executives and organizations create clarity within chaos through strategic executive coaching, leadership innovation, and organizational transformation. Her no-nonsense approach is customized, strategic, direct, conversational, analytical and results-oriented.

A pioneer in the profession, Suzi was one of the first 35 Master Certified Coaches (MCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and as a steward for the advancement of coaching has served on numerous international advisory boards. Over the past 32 years leading her company, her customized executive coaching and leadership strategy work has taken her from the NIH to Fortune 100 executive suites, and from the forests of Kansas to the deserts of Niger in West Africa. She spent half her career coaching in the legal industry, specifically in more than 40 law firms, corporate law departments and law-related organizations. Her client portfolio spans more than 300 organizations across government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors—including Accenture, Deloitte, DuPont, Goldman Sachs, Federal Reserve Board of Governors, Toyota, the FBI, the U.S. Department of Energy, USAID, MedImmune, Pfizer, and over a hundred leaders and scientists across the National Institutes of Health.

Suzi's coaching blends strategic insight with deep interpersonal acumen and has been credited with transforming cultures, increasing executive visibility and influence, and driving measurable organizational outcomes. Her work with executives at DuPont supported the development and growth of the nationally acclaimed DuPont Legal Model, which cut outside legal expenses by 48% and saved the company over $50 million. She helped professional services firms shift from command-and-control leadership to collaborative partnership cultures, increasing engagement by 89%. Her work with a team of executives in a large healthcare construction company contributed to their winning an $80 million hospital contract.

Suzi has contributed significantly to the evolution of coaching as both a practitioner and an industry architect. In 2007, she co-founded the Library of Professional Coaching, the world's largest free digital coaching library and stewarded its growth until it sold to ICF in 2024. She sits on the Harvard Business Review's Advisory Council and the advisory board for the international journal Philosophy of Coaching, and currently serves as the Strategic Advisor to the Editorial Board of choice, the magazine of professional coaching.

As an author and educator, Suzi's insights on leadership, ethics, and business development have appeared in more than 75 published articles and 11 books, including her international bestseller Seal the Deal. Her excellence has been recognized through numerous industry distinctions, including the ICF Global Board Chair's Award, the Platinum Coach Designation from the Association for Coaching Excellence, and the Lee Salmon Sustainable Leadership Award.
